My Approach to Helping
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 9 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, and families. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology (2010), a Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in community health and urban development from the University of Illinois at Chicago (2012), and a Master of Science degree in Public Service Management (2018).
I have worked in a variety of settings such as outpatient clinics, schools, residential programs, and hospitals. I have always had a passion for empowering and advocating for others. I work to empower others by utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.
Issues/disorders commonly treated by me include Depression, Bipolar disorder, Domestic Violence, Borderline Personality disorder, Anxiety, Anger, and Schizophrenia among others.
