My Approach to Helping
I graduated from Monmouth University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in addictions counseling. I have experience with a diverse population of clients with various backgrounds; I have worked with individuals (preteens to adults), groups, families and couples. I have an eclectic approach to counseling and utilize different techniques so that the client may meet their treatment goals. I believe that treatment begins with building a strong therapeutic relationship that caters to the clients’ needs. My treatment preferences include: Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
