My Approach to Helping
I know going to therapy is a vulnerable experience, so I created a safe and inviting environment that allow clients express themselves in an honest way. I strive to become unnecessary by strengthening current and teaching new coping skills.
In therapy, I take a holistic approach and understands social and cultural influences. Each person has a different path to healing and I enjoy discovering that path together. I use modalities such as CBT, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and trauma-informed interventions and am able to tailor tools and coping mechanisms to best support client needs.
I earned an MSW from University of Southern California. My previous experience includes working with at-risk youth dealing with family issues and depression, treating survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault, and helping people in crisis situations. I work with adolescents and adults struggling with stress, depression, anxiety, domestic abuse, sexual assault, self injury, mood disorders, and more.
