My Approach to Helping
I value curiosity and connection. I entered this field with an understanding that taking care of our minds is essential to living healthy, fulfilling lives. I believe an important element of a healthy mind is healthy supports. I place emphasis on building a collaborative relationship, where with warmth and some good humor, we can figure out together what a healthy mind might look like for you. I utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. We will work together to begin to unravel patterns in thinking and behavior and learn new skills for healthier living.
Every individual is unique and therefore I value being eclectic in my style and approach. My intent is to create an authentic, compassionate, space where growth occurs.
