My Approach to Helping
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering individual and couples therapy services at IntraSpectrum Counseling. I am passionate about utilizing mindfulness-based therapies to promote holistic healing and my approach is heavily influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I believe that more deeply understanding the ever interconnected mind and body can help clients connect to what is important in their lives. I create a warm and empathic space in which to explore, identify self and interpersonal goals, and take steps toward greater authenticity.
My experience is in working with adults, young adults, and adolescents. I enjoys working with diverse populations with a wide variety of needs. My clinical interests center on mooddepressive disorders, anxiety disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, and adjustment issueslife transitions.
I graduated from Loyola University, Chicago in 2014. During that time she worked with veterans and survivors of domestic violence. I lived in Los Angeles working with the homeless population for three years before returning to Chicago, and have recently worked at a private practice in Evanston with undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students as well as high school students. I am currently completing the Contextual Behavioral Fellowship with University of Chicago.
