My Approach to Helping
As a counselor, I believe in developing a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship with my clients. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where clients can work towards removing obstacles for their growth and healing. My therapeutic framework is client-centered, strengths-based, and humanistic in nature. I make sure each client feels heard and individualize my counseling approach to meet each person where they currently are in their journey. I utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Strengths-Based Psychology, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. I am here to listen, encourage, collaborate, and assist clients in living their best lives.
Outside of sessions, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, baking, painting, doing calligraphy, and learning how to cook new recipes.
