My Approach to Helping
There are many ways life can knock you down, and sometimes it feels impossible to get back up. This can lead to a variety of mental health and relationship difficulties. Charlotte Stephens believes that every person holds within themselves the strength to overcome any adversity. Sometimes, you need a little bit of guidance to find that strength.
Charlotte uses narrative and existential approaches to help individuals, couples, and families determine their unique values and pieces of identity. By exploring who you are and living authentically, you gain the confidence and power to take back control, and live the life you want to live.
Charlotte has years of experience working with children and adults in multiple capacities. She worked with children on the Autism Spectrum as well as children with other processing and sensory disorders. She also worked with children who experienced childhood trauma along with their entire family system. Charlotte has a background in working with adults with substance use disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and eating disorders. She also has experience with young adults in life transitions, struggling with gender identity and sexuality, and battling addictions and eating disorders.
