As the demand for quality mental health providers increases, coupled with the continued mandate of the Affordable Care Act requiring insurance coverage for everyone, providers have increased opportunities for growing their practices by accepting insured clients. Getting credentialed on insurance panels, however, can be a daunting task, and some providers do not attempt to navigate their way through the insurance credentialing process.

In this 90-minute marketing webinar, Valerie Kuykendall-Rogers, MA, LPC-S will reveal a less-complex approach to credentialing and help lift the shroud obscuring the credentialing process. Valerie will discuss the benefits of becoming credentialed as well as unveil the myths and facts about insurance that often deter clinicians from undergoing the credentialing process. She will also provide a general overview of the different types of insurances, and share considerations for identifying which types may be the best fit for clinicians. Additionally, she will outline the criteria and documents needed to get credentialed and provide specific information on how to streamline the credentialing process.

Valerie uses a fun, interactive, collaborative, and conversational approach that often leaves clinicians feeling less stressed about the credentialing and claims process. This marketing webinar is designed to help clinicians:

  1. List the ABCs of insurance credentialing.

  2. Describe the criteria for getting credentialed.

  3. Explain insurance differentiation.

  4. Discuss effective ways to streamline the insurance credentialing process.

  5. Summarize insurance credentialing must haves.
