Today, more than ever, clients increasingly call for greater authenticity and transparency from their therapists. Have you ever wished you could bring a little more of you into the therapy hour? In order to improve outcomes, we know therapy is less about technique and more about relationship with the clinician. Join Rachel Fleischman, founder of Bliss Counseling and Dance Your Bliss, in an engaging and dynamic presentation and learn immediate techniques to refresh your practice, deepen your engagement with clients, and stay well at work.

In this 2-hour continuing education web conference, Rachel Fleischman, LCSW will guide clinicians through a process that incorporates her four keys to embodiment:

  1. Mindfulness

  2. Movement

  3. Creativity

  4. Connection

Rachel will discuss how to use these four keys to health, integrate what you know about being a therapist with what you need to love your work, and give your clients the help they need. Clinicians strive for positive outcomes for clients, but can get lost at times being wed to technique. This presentation will cover how to create in-the-moment interventions and “aha” moments that clients crave and need for health.

This introductory instructional level web conference is designed to help clinicians:

  1. Practice body awareness, and learn how to share this useful intervention with clients during treatment sessions.

  2. Recognize how honesty and creativity can help you affect personal growth, and share this uplifting approach with clients.

  3. Utilize expressive arts to deepen awareness, sustain energy, and build wisdom in sessions.

  4. Practice techniques such as mindfulness-based meditation, breathwork, drawing, and writing to bring fuller insight to clinical work.

  5. Utilize a sense of the here and now as a practical toolkit for clients and clinician.
