My Approach to Helping

My therapeutic orientation would be described as eclectic, drawing on a wide range of different approaches and techniques, however, it is strongly grounded in cognitive behavioral techniques. Clients have described me as warm, compassionate, and most importantly, effective.

More Info About My Practice

My therapeutic approach is to help you access your potential so you can lead a life you love. We can't change the past, but we can work together to manage the challenges of the present and access a better future. I use complementary approaches to address unhealthy patterns and negative perceptions that prevent you from leading a fulfilling, meaningful existence.

If you're seeking assistance and encouragement in navigating life's challenges or are eager to embark on a new path, I am eager to assist you in achieving your objectives. For those grappling with the weight of anxiety, depression, or trauma, you've found the appropriate sanctuary for healing and growth. My therapeutic method is characterized by a solution-oriented, guiding, and goal-driven approach. In my role as a family therapist, I emphasize the importance of parental engagement in therapy, equipping parents with more effective parenting strategies that benefit not only the child but also the entire family unit.

I am very excited to offer Psychedelic Assisted Therapy to clients now as a Certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapist When talk therapy is not enough and you need deep, transformative healing, psychedelic-assisted therapy can be a profound and powerful tool for self-discovery and growth. As a Certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapist, I am passionate about guiding individuals on their journeys to healing, personal insight, and expanded consciousness. With a strong foundation in conventional counseling techniques and a deep understanding of the potential benefits of integrating psychedelics into therapeutic sessions, I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and transformative space for your healing and personal growth. Together, we can explore new dimensions of healing, self-awareness, and holistic well-being, unlocking the potential for profound change in your life.

I have been the recipient of the Best of Louisville for Mental Health Services for 5 consecutive years in a row.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

There is a purpose to becoming a psychotherapist. That purpose is to ensure that mental health services are accessible to all who are in need. At no point should anyone feel they have nowhere to turn, no one to talk to, and no avenue of help.

Everyone suffers in their own way, and no one should have to suffer alone. I am here to listen to your struggles and assist you in finding solutions to lead a happier, healthier life. I use my years of experience and draw upon my sense of compassion to provide you with a unique approach to psychotherapy.
