World Laughter Day Anticipated by Therapists

Sometimes it may seem that there’s a special day or week for just about every cause and idea under the sun, but sometimes the reason for celebrating a special day is focused purely on fun and enjoyment. On World Laughter Day, to be held May 2nd, there may be some healing in store for celebrants, as well, as the fields of laughter yoga and other physical and psychological therapies gain momentum. Concentrating on laughter’s ability to promote healthy breathing, social activity, and positive feelings, therapists of many disciplines are planning on embracing the day this year to give people a lot to smile about.

That laughter is the best medicine is no new thing to anybody not hiding under a rock for the past couple of decades. What this kind of a special day dedicated to it does is that it creates this awareness and encourages more and more people to join in and actually practice this great thing and bring a true transformation in their lives.

With the mushrooming of laughter clubs all over,it is an ideal time to have introduced something like this…a world laughter day…I’m pretty sure this will entertain more people to such clubs and lead them to better health.
