Cherry Hill is a town in Camden County, New Jersey. It has a land area of 24 square miles. The area was originally inhabited by the Lenni-Lenape Native Americans. The town was incorporated in 1844. Originally called the Delaware Township, the town changed its name to Cherry Hill in 1961.

Cherry Hill has a population of 71,000 people. It is home to 3,600 military veterans. Among adults age 25 or older, 94% have a high school degree, and 55% have a bachelor’s degree. 

The racial composition of Cherry Hill is 74% white, 13% Asian, 7% Hispanic or Latino, and 7% black. Foreign-born people account for 16% of the population. Twenty-two percent of residents have a native language other than English.
