As a practicing therapist or counselor, have you ever asked yourself after a therapy session, “What is going on with this client?” You are not alone! People are complex, and therapists and counselors can only get so much understanding from spending an hour a week with someone. Enter neuropsychological testing.
Neuropsychological testing and assessment can be a helpful way to gain information about a person’s cognitive and emotional functioning, and it can transform the therapeutic process. Unfortunately, this valuable service is often hard to navigate for both clients and their clinicians.
In this 2-hour continuing education webinar, Dr. Jeremy Sharp will walk participants through the key concepts a therapist needs to know about psychological assessment. Dr. Sharp will outline the benefits, common outcomes, and applications of neuropsychological testing as follows:
This introductory continuing education webinar is designed to help mental health clinicians:
Statement of program material's accuracy, utility, and risks: None indicated by presenter.
Declaration identifying any potential conflict of interest and/or commercial support: None.
