Wei-Chien Lee, Ph.D., Continuing Education Committee Member

Wei-Chien Lee Dr. Wei-Chien Lee is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a National Certified Counselor, and a Counselor Faculty and the Student Success Coordinator at San Jose State University Counseling Services. Dr. Lee is also a member of the Professional Development Committee of the National Academic Advising Association as well as a member of the Directorate of the CCAPS of the American College Personnel Association. Dr. Lee received her Ph.D. from Purdue University (Counseling Psychology) and completed her postdoctoral training at Stanford University Counseling and Psychological Services. Dr. Lee is a scholar, clinician, consultant, and teacher. She has published journal articles and book chapters and given more than thirty presentations at national and regional conferences. She has provided individual, couple, and group therapy to diverse populations for more than ten years. In addition, she has been invited to provide consultations to individuals and organizations (included California Board of Psychology). Finally, as her knowledge and skills are well-recognized, Dr. Lee has often been invited to train therapists and psychologists. Dr. Lee has always wanted to help people be happier and healthier--she feels extremely honored and fortunate that she is able to do so, and enjoys working and helping people every day.
