Psychotherapy can be challenging, but it is a rewarding process. Most people come in to discuss the problems in their lives. They often forget about what is going well, and what are their natural talents and abilities. Psychotherapy helps you reclaim yourself. We will augment your natural coping skills to help you develop a new freedom and a new happiness at work and in your relationships...in approaching your life. Everyone is different, no one approach fits all. How we proceed is determined by you and your needs. Your family, culture, sexual orientation and ethnicity are all important. I use an integrative approach which combines insight oriented, mindfulness, cognitive, behavioral and humanistic approaches.
More Info About My Practice
I am involved in the training of psychologists at area hospitals. Because of this I am sensitive to need for ethics: honesty, compassion, integrity and practicality. I strive to create a safe atmosphere to explore the past, focus on the present, involve important others, or create structured program for change.
