My Approach to Helping

Clients and I explore a set of relationships in which the individual within the family system. Our family of origin is embedded in us and one of the most critical elements of one's therapeutic work is to recognize patterns and one's own part in the process. We do this within a three generational lens taking time to explore hurts, betrayals joys and celebrations.I am respectful, non judgmental, very interactive, warm and giving. I hope to strengthen your inner voice and allow for a more effective control of your emotional needs while reaching towards happier relationships.Individuals will develop better tools to navigate their worlds with less anxiety, less depressive moods while increasing self-worth, well-being and building more committed and solid relationships within their family, social arena, and work force.

I also am an expert on French American Relationships, being bi cultural, understanding deeply the differences in both cultures thus helping to create a bridge for couples. I work with Francophone families that are expatriates and the adjustment period for their families to adjust.I also am very experienced with helping blended families, the role of a stepmother, the challenges faced by divorce and single parenting.I closely work with mothers and fathers if they entrust me with their younger children. The goal being to strengthen the parental unity by creating trust in oneself as a parent.
