My approach to therapy centers on the importance of relationships, both with others and with yourself. It is important to me to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for my clients. I try to help my clients understand patterns in their life, and to bring more awareness to their emotional and physical responses. I have worked with many different populations, including adolescents, mothers, and survivors of sexual assault. I am also a certified rape crisis counselor. My background in expressive arts therapy offers an alternative approach for those who prefer a more creative form of expression. Although I am primarily a verbal therapist, I also am a board-certified music therapist who can incorporate the arts into therapy for clients who are interested. I have experience using songwriting, art, yoga, poetry and journaling in therapy. My offices are located near the T in Harvard Square and Central Square.
