My Approach to Helping
I believe we must explore the whole person and where s/he is in life - psychically, behaviorally, bodily, and spiritually - before we can decide where we're going. Even though we are often driven by emotions, as humans we work creatively and unconsciously to avoid feeling them. When using the body and spirit in the present moment, truths are often revealed more readily than via our verbal mind.
Life is about evolving out of dissatisfying "ways of being" and adapting to different behaviors which feel better. Using a holistic approach, considering various dimensions of a person, helps us better understand our relationship to emotions, our path thus far, and where we can possibly go from there.

What I Usually Need to Know to Help
How will you know when therapy is working for you?
My Guiding Ethical Principles
We are all human beings fumbling through this thing called "life." None is more qualified to exist than another. We all deserve to be heard and seen. We each have wisdom to impart. If the knowledge I hold does not seem to resonate with you, I will direct you to another human being whose wisdom might.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
Finding someone you feel you can trust and be honest with not only in your darkest moments, but those of pure joy.
