About Our Center

Our primary goal at Skywood is to help people with co-occurring psychological and substance dependence issues regain long term health. Our therapeutic program is specially designed with this goal in mind, and involves effective treatment options such as group therapy, individual therapy, yoga, peer support groups, art therapy, adventure therapy, and 12-step meetings. These activities complement each other and help us to unearth the underlying reasons for addiction, address them, and develop healthy habits which promote recovery. Skywood's system of care is unique for several reasons. First, we provide integrated treatment for addiction and mental health issues at the same time. This approach helps to restore people's physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional well-being. Second, we directly address subtle emotional or psychological factors which may contribute to addictive behaviors. And lastly, we teach life skills that help each person build a strong foundation for sustainable, long-term recovery.
