Sabino Recovery is a 35-day residential treatment center for people suffering from trauma as well as those who are seeking recovery from alcohol, cannabis, opiates and other substances along with PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Safe, Personal, Peaceful - We are situated on 100 acres of breathe-taking beauty in Tucson Arizona at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains. The desert landscape is relaxing, peaceful and calming to the spirit. If you have been working hard trying to control your addiction or keep your trauma at bay this is a safe place to stop the pain, and work on your issues. With devoted experts who will help you find the resources to make a new life a possibility. Optimal Individualization - Therapeutic plans are developed around the unique needs of each resident. At Sabino Recovery there are no predetermined treatment tracks; each person’s treatment plan is designed after he or she arrives. Our program is monitored by a highly trained multidisciplinary team that is able to make needed adjustments in real-time for the benefit of each resident. Neuroscience - Our health care program is grounded in the latest, evidence-based research in neuroscience. We utilize therapeutic modalities that increase neuroplasticity—the formation of new neural connections in the brain. We offer additional services such as QEEG brain mapping, neurofeedback, and biofeedback as needed, in order to optimize treatment. Naturopathic Approach - The health care team at Sabino Recovery provides medical care utilizing both allopathic (Western) medicine and naturopathic medicine. Our medical director is an experienced naturopathic doctor and we encourage the use of nutraceuticals – in this way our residents, if they choose, can more easily stop the use of pharmaceutical medications. By applying both medial protocols we ensure that each resident receives the maximum benefit from our program. Integrative Therapies - We offer a truly holistic and integrative approach to treatment. Common modalities used in session include outdoor adventure therapy, equine therapy, acupuncture, massage therapy, EMDR, and somatic experiencing. Each modality is a crucial part of our clinical program. Additionally, our wide variety of therapeutic offerings allows for increased support and personalization of each resident’s treatment plan.
