About Our Center

Inspire Malibu offers a rehab program that, when diligently followed, offers extraordinary success. The vision of Dr. Akikur Reza Mohammad is at the heart of our effectiveness. We offer a program that blends traditional care with modem, therapy-based approaches to provide a program very different from other treatment models. We custom-tailor treatment programs to meet the needs of each client, offering some components to all clients. All clients move into the facility during treatment, receiving only limited and supervised interaction with the external world. This is not a punishment, but rather a way to ensure each interaction aids the recovery process. Rehab programs vary in length depending upon the degree of addiction and the client's recovery journey. Most programs are at least 30 days, and few are longer than 90. Some are as long as 180 days. In addition to therapy and addiction education, we provide shelter, food, and entertainment. Our staffed is trained in a range of therapy styles that are proven to aid the addiction recovery process and prevent relapse. We offer a unique treatment program for each individual patient that uses one or more therapy options. We understand that each client has a different set of needs and challenges. Our goal is to identify those needs, then find therapy that meets those needs and helps the client to overcome challenges. We offer: • Motivational enhancement therapy • One-on-one counseling • Cognitive-behavioral therapy • Dialectical-behavioral therapy • Pharmacotherapy • One-on-one counseling • Neurofeedback • Stress management • Transcranial magnetic stimulation Our clinical team consists of experts in addiction and rehab. They determine the challenges and needs of each client, then customize a treatment program to meet each patient's needs and circumstances. At Inspire Malibu, therapy focuses on more than just your addiction. Dr. Mohammad's two decades in addiction medicine have taught him that rehab programs only work when they keep the mind and body healthy. We offer a range of therapies and programs that endeavor to improve social, mental, and physical health.
