About Our Center

Foundations Chicago offers a comprehensive outpatient program that caters to the mental and behavioral health needs of residents of the Windy City, as well as men and women from other parts of the country. Our integrated system of care focuses on helping people with co-occurring addiction and mental health issues. We employ techniques and principles from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavior therapy, and other empirically supported modalities as we gently guide individuals through a stages-of-change approach to behavior modification. The program is specially designed to promote healing, whether individuals are transitioning from a higher level of care or receiving therapeutic services for the first time. Our treatment program is grounded in a continuum of integrated educational sessions, group and individual therapies, holistic approaches and case management. The people in our care use the skills and tools learned in treatment to overcome their challenges and reach their personal recovery goals.
