My Approach to Helping
I offer a non-judgmental environment and have been told that clients feel safe and engaged while in session.
I have over ten years of experience in working with clients who have been diagnosed with: depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I am trained in EMDR and often use it as a tool to assist clients. I offer both long and short term treatment depending on your needs, and provide a safe and confidential environment.
I am also an adjunct professor at Fordham University Graduate School of Social Services.
I utilize a relational model, a psychodynamic approach, EMDR and goal oriented treatment. Each client is treated as an individual, therefore the methodology is dependent upon the needs of each person.
