My Approach to Helping
My focus is on clients who are relatively high functioning, but who are experiencing the types of issues and challenges that commonly present themselves: relationship issues, developmental (e.g., young adult and mid-life) issues, career and lifestyle issues, and issues involving meaning and purpose. My therapeutic approach is best suited to clients who are highly motivated, anxious and willing to change, and committed to the serious work required to gain a deeper understanding of themselves. In addition to helping individuals navigate life's journey, I have a particular passion for helping couples explore, understand, strengthen, and revitalize their relationships.
My graduate training is in pastoral counseling, which recognizes not only the psychological, but also the spiritual, dimension of human beings. I also completed training in Jungian Psychotherapy at the CG Jung Institute of Chicago. My therapeutic approach is growth oriented, which honors our inherent drive toward wholeness and individuation.
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor and certified Jungian Psychotherapist. I work from a holistic perspective, which honors the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. I have an active, open, engaging style which promotes rapport and trust. My offices create a welcoming space that is warm, peaceful, and safe.

My fees are competitive with the market. My usual fee is $125/session, but I have a limited number of slots available for clients whose financial circumstances do not allow them to pay the usual fee. I try my best to find a way to work with those who have a desire to pursue counseling with me.
