Lynn Somerstein is a licensed psychoanalyst in private practice, is Executive Director of the Institute for Expressive Analysis. Dr. Somerstein is on the editorial board of the Psychoanalytic Review and the author of numerous articles about yoga, anxiety, attachment issues and psychotherapy. "The Great Mistake," published in Psychoanalytic Perspectives in the winter of 2010, is currently one of three nominees for the 2011 Gradiva Award, which recognizes the best psychoanalytic article published each year. Dr. Somerstein is also an international speaker, and has presented her work in India, Turkey, China, and in the United States. She uses the wisdom she has gained as a yoga teacher, psychologist and student of Ayurveda, or Indian life knowledge, to help people recognize and attain their innermost goals.

Blake Edwards, MSMFT, LMFT

Blake is a licensed marriage and family therapist, a mental health professional and child mental health specialist certified by the Washington Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery, and a marriage education services provider for the Texas Health Marriage and Relationship Initiative. Blake has worked in schools, churches, emergency teen shelters, outpatient clinics, and private practice. He has served as a consultant member on a community advisory team with the Washington State Division of Child and Family Services and community consultant for Casey Family Programs in Seattle. Blake is a 2004 graduate of Seattle Pacific University, where he earned his master's degree in marriage and family therapy, and a 2002 graduate of East Texas Baptist University. Blake is a clinical manager at a large mental health organization in Dallas, Texas. He is married and has twin daughters.
