For you to experience successful change and growth through therapy, I believe that working with the right psychologist is critical. I have found it to be extremely effective for us to operate as a "team" in which you and I are both interactive and work together to identify, understand, and change those thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that have held you back from having the kind of life you want. I try to provide a very comfortable place within which you can feel free to express and learn about who you are and, ultimately, achieve your goals here.

More Info About My Practice

I do have my regular rates. However, given that times are still financially difficult for some people, when needed, I do try to individually find a fee that is realistic and fair to you and I. I also take insurance and, as a courtesy, I do the billing for those who work with me.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I have many specialties as noted in my information. With all of these areas, I find it to be very important to understand the "roots" of where your issue(s) may have come from and why you may keep engaging in the issue(s), even if you know it is unhealthy to do this. I am trained to identify and understand these "roots" and help you replace them with healthier ways to think, feel, and behave. In addition, no matter what the issue you want to work on is, I try to give you an emotionally safe and comfortable environment in which we do the therapy so you can get the most out of this experience with me.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

I believe that psychotherapy can help you in so many wonderful, growth-enhancing ways. First of all, you can be working together with a psychologist who is trained through education and experience to listen to you objectively, with knowledge, and without judgement. You can feel free to express yourself and also get to learn more about who you are and also who you are not. Erroneous beliefs about yourself, others, and the world can be corrected, and unhealthy patterns can be pinpointed and broken. In their place, more healthier ways to think, feel, and behave can be learned through psychotherapy with guidance, practice, and modifications. As a result, psychotherapy can empower you to start living a more authentic, happier, and healthier life.
