It is very courageous to make a decision to call a therapist when things are not going well in your life or in your relationships. I strive to offer a safe, compassionate, and of course confidential environment for individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with many different issues. Whether it is about conflict/communication or affairs in couples, sexual issues, family conflict/raising adolescents, parenting, LGBTQ issues, depression, anxiety, or anything else which may bring an individual to therapy, I genuinely want to offer you a safe space to explore your life.

I have specialized training in couple and family therapy, which I received through the Ackerman Institute for the Family in New York City. I am also currently pursuing certification in sex therapy because so often, sexual issues come up in the context of couples therapy.

My hope is to provide you with a caring, and non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe to talk about whatever it is that has brought you to therapy. My goal is to create positive change in your life.

More Info About My Practice

I look forward to speaking with you about what it is that has created your need to reach out to a therapist, and answer any questions you have for me, before we meet.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Helping people move from a place of discomfort to a place where they feel better about their lives and relationships is what fuels my passion for this work. The individuals who honor me by sharing their personal stories, touch me deeply. Your trust in me is a responsibility I take very seriously.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Reaching out for help when you are feeling distressed in some area of your life is a great strength. It is not easy to be vulnerable. Of course it is important to focus on what is not working in people's lives and relationships, but it is of equal importance to highlight the many strengths individuals have.
