Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Parenting support and work with children and adolescents is a primary focus of my practice. Whether I am providing play therapy for young kids, helping teenagers manage the complexities of adolescence, or guiding parents on how to set age appropriate boundaries, I am always attempting to be genuine, supportive and understanding.

An additional area of expertise is around feelings of loss. Loss of a loved one, loss of independence brought on by parenthood, loss of a spouse or partner through divorce, loss of friendships and other valuable interpersonal relationships and a lost sense of self. There are so many ways one can feel loss. Having an opportunity in therapy to grieve and express these feelings openly, allows my clients to find comfort and relief.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Given that change is likely to occur through therapy, it takes strength to begin this process of self-awareness. I can help guide you, help you accept what can not be changed, and help you find courage to make desired changes to improve your relationships and your overall outlook on life.
