Is communication difficult? Do you wake up exhausted? Anxious about the things you need to do or should have done? Are you feeling angry or irritated at your children, your partner - at the world around you? The stress of daily existence can lead to exhaustion, irritability and feelings of isolation.
Evidence based research shows that therapy is one way to make life long changes.
If you feel safe, the process of therapy can help you examine your anxiety, anger, feelings of low self worth and confusion. It's not about changing who you are ~ it's about changing patterns that are no longer helpful. Let's explore thoughts and feelings that are getting in the way of enjoying your relationships and your life.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
Trained in multiple disciplines, I have extensive experience working with anxiety, anger, low self esteem, and difficult life transitions. If you've been to therapy and felt that it wasn't helpful, let's talk about why.
I'm not much of a "How does that make you feel" therapist... I am involved, curious, and and while very purposeful about my job, I love the healing power of laughter.
Are you a step parent? A step child? I specialize in the complex demands of step or blended families.
Teens, adults, and young adults.
Individual and some family therapy.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
How DOES our past affect our current life? Our future? We learn very young how to view ourselves and our place in this world.
Our inner voices can be so harsh: "I can't do it." "I can't communicate." "I'm can't seem to do anything right." It's not safe to be vulnerable."
Self talk like this cuts us down and separates from our true selves.
It takes courage to change. We get trampled by our fears, our anger, and our negative self talk. We've been taught that to be vulnerable is to be weak. Working on these issues takes guts!
I will not give you answers on how to "fix" your life. I will, however, dedicate myself to help you and your loved ones, find the answers you hold inside.
It is worth the work and I will be there with you to rekindle and revel in your courage.
