I have helped individuals that are depressed, anxious, struggling with low self-esteem, engaging in self-defeating behaviors, stuck in their relationships or simply not where they want to be at this point in their life? I have found through 26 years working in the mental health field, that individuals have great capacity to heal. If you are ready to get help and gain insight and specific skills to feel better then you have come to the right place. I will support you on your journey of healing by facilitating an environment that encourages growth and conscious observation. Given the right structure and guidance from a supportive and skilled therapist you can begin to realize your potential.

Therapy can help you understand and take responsibility for your own emotional health; the first step in achieving a meaningful and positive relationship with yourself and others. Taking the first step to get help is usually the hardest. Choosing the right therapist to assist you in making these changes is important.

My style is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and interactive. I create a safe atmosphere without judgment, to help you explore past hurts, future desires and goals. I provide you with specific skills to help you overcome your distress and become the person you want.

I have extensive training and over 26 years experience working with all types of individuals, and couples providing both brief and long term work. I don't think one style fits all so I use a blend of therapeutic approaches tailored to your specific needs to address a wide range of personal issues such as depression, anxiety, fear, past and present trauma, relationship issues and life transitions.

If you would like to learn more about my practice or if you have questions about what your therapy might look like, I invite you to contact me for a complimentary phone consultation.
