Whether presenting as an individual, couple or family I believe the resources required for healing are within and my job is to help bring these strengths to light. I believe therapy is a collaborative process of discovery and understanding.
I am very active during sessions and use Structural Family Therapy as a map toward strengthening positive relationships between couples and family members. In individual, couples or family sessions I see myself as an agent of change.
I embody a spiritual approach based on my own mindfulness practice. I am a Master Clinician of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and use hypnotherapy as it is useful, especially with the healing of trauma. I also utilize mandalas and sand tray therapy at times.
More recently I have been trained in touch psychotherapy and impacting the vagus nerve system to release trauma and upset from the CNS.

Ages I Work With
Groups I Work With
I have extensive experience with couples and families. I enjoy working with adolescents and others on the cusp of new behavior and understanding.
I have worked successfully with survivors of abuse and people who experience panic attacks, phobias and flashbacks. I am interested in helping those who feel stuck as they are moving through a developmental stage or life transition.
I am also very interested in spiritual matters.
More recently I have been trained in touch psychotherapy, or vagus nerve work, which is helpful to release trauma and upset from the skin, fascia, kidney and brainstem. This modality is especially appropriate for depression, anxiety and PTSD.
In keeping with my renewed interest and understanding of how our physical bodies hold and release experiences I have found breath work to be very satisfying and helpful for many clients. I am trained as a Kundalini Yoga teacher and use the breath work (pranayama) from this yoga practice.
