Are you ready to make a career or lifestyle change and aren't making progress on your own? I specialize in lifestyle, and career transition therapy and am passionate about helping people overcome whatever is standing in the way of having the life you want. In a supportive, safe and non-judgmental partnership we will create the clarity, and motivation needed for change to occur. My approach is collaborative, solution oriented, creative and active. Since you have likely already tried to make this transition on your own or with help, I believe it is important to help you see your situation from a new perspective and then give you the tools and support to make progress. I do this through a combination of deep listening and reflection along with activities and exercises that promote clarity and new insights.

More Info About My Practice
I know first hand how important it is to feel heard and understood. I also know that even though you may want your life to be different, it can still be difficult to take the first step. It is especially important to make a connection with your counselor. This is why I offer free 20-30 minute phone consultations. Please feel free to call or e-mail me to set up a time so that we can discuss your needs and explore how my services might be useful to you.
I provide both in-person and on-line services. For clients who are experiencing financial challenges I also offer sliding scale rates.
How Psychotherapy Can Help
Everyone goes through challenging situations in life, and while you may have successfully navigated through other difficulties you've faced, there's nothing wrong with seeking out extra support when you need it. In fact, career and lifestyle counseling is for people who have enough self-awareness to realize they need a helping hand, and that is something to be admired. You are taking responsibility by accepting where you're at in life and making a commitment to change the situation by seeking support and guidance.
