For 25 years I've helped couples save, heal, and strengthen their marriages. What I've learned is that while every couple is unique and has their own special experience, the cause of marital distress is often surprisingly similar: we let our marriages drift and our attachment to each other frays and splinters. The good news is there is hope for your relationship, even as the fighting increases and the love and intimacy seem lost. I've helped countless couples escape the toxic dance that was killing their relationship and discover new ways to reach out and connect with each other. I work not just to stop the destructive pattern you're in, but also to strengthen the bond of your marriage so that you can grow and thrive...together

More Info About My Practice

I've worked for 25+ years helping couples save their marriages. I was one of the first Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists in the state of Virginia and I'm both a member and supervisor with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) - and indication of advanced training in the marriage counseling field. I'd be honored to help you find your way back to each other again.

My Therapy Focus

As a couples specialist for 25+ years, the focus of my work has revolved around how to help couples change the trajectory of their relationship. I can help couples a variety of ways, but my favorite focus in therapy is Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) which emphasizes re-connection and attachment. I prefer this because often couples are in distress because they have drifted apart from each other. This focus highlights the relationship "dance" as the problem, not either partner specifically. Plus, it has an 80% "highly-satisfied" success rate, which is tops in our field. Please call me to talk more about the approaches and focus I can offer your relationship.
