My Approach to Helping

Have you been feeling stress, doubt, and worries in your relationships and work? You may have been suffering for a long time and have tried to find relief not getting the results you want. You may be hesitant to seek help or doubt there is a way to feel better. Through my years of experience I have seen countless clients move through suffering to having more hope for the future, a more fulfilling life, and feeling joy in their relationships. Working together as a team, we find new ways of thinking and you will see yourself in a different light.

More Info About My Practice

I am here to understand each client and connect genuinely to their experience. I have seen numerous clients in emotional pain come to greater clarity and peace of mind. Through using Client-Centered approaches and Psychodynamic Therapy, we find new ways of thinking and you see change is possible!

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I am a counselor for teenagers, so if you have seen your child struggling with school pressures, their peers, feeling like they don't fit in, and have seen changes in their daily life, my countless experiences have shown support and active interventions can bring back their confidence and enjoyment. We live our lives in relationships with others which can cause stress, frustration, and pain so much of my work focuses on the self in relationship with others and becoming more clear about what one wants in their life and relationships. I have seen clients come from suffering in their daily lives and relationships to becoming stronger and feeling connected to others. I have seen people feel the changes in their lives and experience their lives very differently. Transformation is possible.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

The purpose of psychotherapy is to get clients to experience the joy, comfort, and quality relationships they want. They may feel frustrated that methods they have tried before haven't worked, but through my experience, it is possible. Through genuinely connecting to my clients I have seen them turn around and start to believe that they could have it differently. I help clients see that this IS possible!

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love seeing the transformation in clients that go from suffering to feeling joy and fulfillment in their relationships, work, and daily lives. I am most passionate of seeing clients overcome feelings of loss and struggle to feeling self-confident and fulfilled.

My Role as a Therapist

I work collaboratively with my clients to help them see there is a different way of feeling and looking at their lives than what they are used to. I help them see that they can make subtle changes that can transform their view of their relationships.

My Therapy Focus

With my clients, we come up with goals that the client feels confident about and work with those goals in mind, but also at the client's pace. By connecting genuinely with the client, this is done.

What I Usually Need to Know to Help
