I have a passion to walk alongside my clients as they seek to overcome the many trials that they encounter. I see it as a privilege and an incredible opportunity to be able to help people heal, learn tangible tools, and experience growth in areas that they had often lost hope in.

Much of life involves relationships - with others, with ourselves, and even with our past. As we seek to improve these relationships, it is important to have a deeper understanding of your own as well other's needs.

Finding the right therapist is important, and can be overwhelming at times. My approach is relational and client-centered, meeting you where you are at in your journey, in order to encourage you, empower you and bring insight and hope.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

I truly believe that one of the most important and most powerful aspects of therapy is the therapeutic alliance between the client and therapist. When there is a positive therapeutic alliance, it sets up a strong and healthy foundation for transparency, honesty, and change in and out of session.
Have you had a negative therapy experience in the past? Think back, how was the therapeutic alliance? That is a good indicator of the outcome of therapy, in addition to some other factors.
In order for change to occur, we first need a safe place where we feel heard, validated, and supported.
