More Info About My Practice

Together we'll work toward growth and personal healing, with a strong emphasis on cognitive and behavioral skills, emotional coping, health, and spiritual development. I use a humanistic, eclectic style to ensure each client gets his or her needs met. I can help you regain hope by working with the whole person and providing a safe environment where you can explore your physical intellectual, relational, spiritual, and emotional health. My goal is to help you live a healthy, happy, soulful, and more meaningful existence.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I have worked within the field of addictions/recovery since 1990 both in treatment facilities and within private practice. It's affects on the individual and family are often devastating with each person playing a role. As a consequence I have worked with the addict and the enabler, the codependent and the adult child, and I have witnessed the joy of recovery.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

The choice of going into therapy does not mean a person is weak. Rather it means you have the courage to begin to change your life from the pain of surviving to a life of thriving. Choosing a therapist is crucial to the process. It is important to look for a therapist who has understanding and who can provide safe and confidential services. The supportive relationship I provide to my clients, which I combine with years of practice and counseling knowledge, offers a unique counseling experience where you feel heard, understood and hopeful. It is my goal to work with you in a holistic manner: Emotional, Relational, Cognitive/Behavioral, Spiritual and Health to achieve a life of balance.
