While I understand that reaching out to talk about personal issues can be difficult, I believe that as life goes by everyone runs into "bumps in the road" that can create confusion, hurt, and discomfort. These feelings can be relieved by talking it out. I try to make our first session safe and comfortable so that in following sessions opening up can provide clarity, support, and will start to lift the veil to reveal the answers that you long for in your life. Oftentimes, these issues involve old baggage from the past, which can create interruptions in having a peaceful life today.

More Info About My Practice

Our sessions are for 55 minutes and payment is due at the time of your visit in the form of check or cash. If you have insurance that covers therapy, I will provide you a receipt for services, which your insurance will accept as Out of Network to reimburse you.

My specialties are trauma, addictions, codependence, and relationship issues. I have advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, Seeking Safety, and Family of Origin issues. I have worked for 10 years in the field of Domestic Violence helping survivors realize their future in a safe environment and over 7 years with adolescents struggling with mental health issues, as well as life style issues. As an LPC-Supervisor, I also supervise LPC-Interns as they work toward licensure.

As your therapist, my role is to assist you in finding the answers that you are seeking by listening, asking relavant questions, and challenging your thinking patterns. I won't push you into an area that you are not ready to look at, and I will guide you toward what your goal is for yourself.
