During my own personal journey in seeking a therapist, I found it difficult to connect with a counselor in whom I felt safe to tell my most personal concerns. I was looking for someone that would truly understand me and support my goals. Finding the right help didn't come easy. So after 20 years in the medical profession, I answered a heart felt calling to provide the counseling I had long searched for.

Even with all of the wonderful theories I learned and now practice, the most important element in counseling is the trust relationship between the therapist and the client. My goal is to make your therapeutic experience a meaningful connection with someone who truly cares.

Having training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, I am qualified to help if you have suffered from trauma and/or abuse. Since I have additional licensing and training in Chemical Dependency, my approach to chemical dependency disorders is done with compassion and without judgment.

Providing over 3,000 hours of professional counseling has enabled me to customize therapy plans gears to your unique needs.
