People have an innate capacity for growth and healing. But none of us can change within a vacuum. As a licensed psychologist, I have the privilege of fostering supportive therapeutic relationships with clients who feel stuck, anxious, or dis-empowered. Clients learn to manage and recover from issues that have impacted their sense of self and the direction of their lives.

I see myself as a facilitator, helping clients find their answers by gently guiding them to connect to their inner self and access their inner wisdom. My goal is to draw upon my skills to promote an atmosphere in which you can learn to be accepting of yourself in the moment, while at the same time you are creating change in your life. I am very identified with my own healing journey of the past 30 years and draw upon, as well as bring that, insight in to my work.

My style has been described as creative, transparent, and interactive. I customize my work by flexibly integrating a variety of approaches to therapy, including Gestalt, mindfulness, interpersonal process, ComB, DBT, and CBT. My intent is to tailor treatment to your individual needs and preferences, focusing on what works to move you closer to your goals.

In addition to completing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I have completed additional training through the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and the Trichotillomania Learning Center. I also draw on my prior experience as a National Board Certified Occupational Therapist.

More Info About My Practice

I offer a free initial phone consultation, and I currently have day and evening appointments available at my Shadyside and Wexford offices. I would be happy to talk with you about your concerns and goals. The free phone consultation also provides us an opportunity to explore if I may be a good therapist to work with you. If I am not available, please feel free to leave a confidential message on my phone. Please let me know if it is OK to leave a voicemail message for you, and good days and times for me to reach you. If you prefer to use email, please note that email is not a secure way to transmit confidential information.

Out of Network*

*If I am not an in-network provider for your insurance company, we may still be able to work together. Some individuals have found that their out-of-network benefits are no more expensive than in-network co-pays. Please check with your insurance company to determine your out-of-network mental health benefits. (Unfortunately, I cannot check this for you.)

Please call me for self-pay rates.
