Rather than approaching life from within the framework of the problem state, I place attention on how you would be if you were able to perform in a desired way. Call this the framework of possibility--what works! You will learn some essential points that can lead to powerful changes in your life:

1- The ground of your experience is the position held within the body at the micro-muscular level.

2- Working with me, I will access your most positive experience, literally a position of extraordinary well-being and clarity -- to function as a lens through which you become aware of what is possible for you, rather than what is problematic and causes pain.

3- Through our work, you develop the skill set for maintaining an acute body-mind awareness and making this way of being the foundation or starting point for conducting your daily life. The outcome is confidence in your decisions and performance; and the ability to attract what you most want into your life!

4- You learn to become transparent or capable of fully-experiencing (through your senses) each unfolding moment as it occurs while holding a powerful, positive state inside!

Like this, where you place your attention is precisely on what you want, rather than on what you do not want. As a result, the work generates a direction and renewed sense of purpose in your life.

More Info About My Practice

Historically, I have conducted a practice as a NYS Licensed Psychologist for three decades. During this time period, I have been an educator and speaker, having taught approximately 28 college psychology courses in numerous colleges and universities; and offered public lectures sponsored by several community organizations. Regarded as a community leader, I have also conducted a radio show I called, "Think positive...for a change!"; and I published over 240 articles in magazines and several newspaper columns on issues of interest to the reading audience. Currently, a book I wrote, "Decisions, Decisions", is available everywhere and can be viewed-- and purchased-- through my website.

In my practice, I facilitate people to having an experiential realization-- from a positive frame-- of themselves, living the life of their choice. This begins with guiding them to a potent form of "deciding" in their favor. I use a variety of tools with adults, adolescents and children, primarily The Mythogenic Self Process.

I take all major credit cards and offer generous discounts within my professional service agreement. In addition, partial reimbursement from your insurance carrier is possible, as I am a NYS Licensed Psychologist.

NEW! Counseling by phone- convenient, affordable, innovative- from anywhere in the US. "I-chat" (like Skype) available, too! Go to my website and click the link to the left, 'Counseling By Phone'.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Anxiety. Most people who experience a range of limitations related to anxiety-- i.e., frequent negative internal dialogue ("worry"), sleep disturbance, gastro-intestinal distress, angry outbursts, difficulty concentratiing, among others-- have learned to place their attention on what they can... NOT... do. The focus of their lives is problems and the difficulty they cause in relation to decision making. I teach people to shift the ground they operate from in that their framework-- what they "notice for"-- becomes much more positive. This process begins within the body and involves learning an extraordinary skill set.
