Welcome! During the past 20 years I have worked hard to connect with people on a truly authentic level. Through the development of relationship, goals to reach a greater sense of fulfillment, joy, and peace can be realized. I believe strongly in honoring each individual story and the strengths that are present in each person. I offer compassion and connection, mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches.

My goal is to help you develop a stronger sense of personal empowerment, gain clarity and insight, and in general improve how you feel. My style in the therapy session is extremely collaborative and empathic. Infusing gentle humor and positive energy into our sessions to allow a natural flow of conversation we can tackle your struggles and concerns. Through traditional talk therapy as well as drawing on many other techniques to enhance the therapeutic experience I create a nonjudgmental space to express, problem solve, and explore. Mindfulness, relaxation, journaling and art (process not product is the goal so NO art background necessary) provide crucial elements that together can begin to address your challenges.

I look forward to meeting you and joining you on this journey!

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

Since I believe the quality of the relationship is a key element to the success of therapy, I think interpersonal chemistry is important. The relationship is important because if you feel you are with someone you trust and feel is connected to you in an empathic way you have a foundation from which difficult things can be explored. I am committed to the development of this connection so you can have the opportunity to be vulnerable, take in feedback, and begin the work required to make the changes you want to make. We all navigate difficult challenges each and every day. I am passionate about helping you gain insight, a sense of empowerment, and the perfect set of tools for you to deal with whatever life throws your way.
