More Info About My Practice

I work with those struggling with, or affected by sexual addiction. Often we confuse symptoms with causes. There are behavioral steps needed, and healing that can happen at a deeper level. You can build a life that has purpose, significance and substance.
We often experience incredibly hard and traumatizing experience--this is a safe place to understand your struggles and move past them, whether as a couple or an individual.
The evidence based approach of EMDR is a strong part of my trauma work.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process

Of course! Most of us are unsure or skeptical about the potential for someone else to really help with the turmoil we feel. My approach is honest and open about life and recognizes the tensions we experience. It is a big step to admit the need for help, another big step to seek help, and hugely rewarding to find understanding, compassion and help. I am delighted to have conversations about people's concerns with counseling because it shows how seriously they are taking themselves and their problems. If you are concerned, I encourage you to explore that and I'd be happy to talk with you.
