I am a holistic integrative psychologist who offers transformative healing of body, mind and spirit. Together we discover the origins of your concerns by accessing your own embodied wisdom and the resources to meet life's challenges. This happens in an atmosphere of deep trust and collaboration.
We have all experienced numerous small traumas in our lives and often some major ones, like a sudden loss or an accident. These live in our bodies in the form of their original sensations, emotions, images and memories. As they accumulate over time, they create a burden on the nervous system and drain vital energy. Eventually, they manifest in the range of symptoms that produce chronic discomfort. By means of mindful exploration, we access the origins of these powerful blocks to well being, releasing the belief that no longer serves you. New beliefs arise spontaneously.
This transformative process can be combined with EMDR, Hakomi, Cognitive-Behavioral approaches and insight-oriented modalities. Our experience is creative, deep and positively surprising. Mutual curiosity and a willingness to explore the totality of your being insure a profound experience.

More Info About My Practice

Psychotherapy for me is a calling more than an occupation, which has delighted me for decades. I have continuously sought to broaden and deepen my capacities and skills. I work with adults, couples and groups all ages. Many years as a child/family therapist and parent lead to a strong parenting expertise, which I still share. I am drawn to development over the lifespan and know that developmental transitions, that is in and out of college, career, marriage, parenthood and others are the best times to do this work. Often we feel called to this process when we know a transition wants to happen but we are stuck. Please call me for a complementary telephone consultation. We will be able to sense whether we will work well together.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

I experience all people as fundamentally whole and the whole you as acceptable, lovable, not needing to hide. When we embrace every emotion, sensation and inner experience deeply, we become balanced, integrated and calm within. We illuminate aspects of Self you find problematic and, together, bring compassion, understanding and love to them.
