Therapy is about learning it is safe to tell yourself the truth.

Telling the truth about our pain and the dark places we hold is not an easy task. Once the hard work of telling the truth is done, then the satisfying process of transformation comes into play. Who does best with this type of therapy? Therapeutic results are ultimately based on the level of self-honesty you are ready to put into your healing journey. If you come with complete surrender and courage, the end result can be deep understanding, forgiveness, self-love, freedom from illusion, and a calm, peaceful knowing that one has reached the Truth.

If you would like to work with me, it's important to be clear that the main goal of therapy is to bust through the old emotional and mental paradigms that are no longer serving you - whatever it takes. This work isn't always comfortable. It's brave, yet loving work. If you're willing to face every veil, and tell yourself the TRUTH at every juncture, you will find that the end result is PURE FREEDOM.

Therapy works well when the relationship between counselor and client works well. It's my main focus to creating a safe, trusting space where you feel comfortable to explore your stuff. I want to get to know you!

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Therapy is about learning to tell yourself the TRUTH.

There was a time when psychotherapy was seen as something only done by those who were unwell. Today its used as an important tool for staying sane in an insane world. Therapy is more than a friendly discourse, such as what one might experience with a buddy. Therapy is a laser-focused tool used to unearth previously hidden parts of ourselves... parts that we need to be whole. Counseling can be used as a means of support, as a think-tank for solving problems, as a lab for practicing honest relationship, as a church where we explore our most sacred spiritual parts, as a hospital where we heal what's been wounded, as a school where we learn new ways of coping and responding to the world around us, and as a safe haven where our deepest vulnerabilities can emerge in search of acceptance and love.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

What I love about being a therapist is building real relationships with my clients. It's such a deep honor to be with people as they courageously face the roadblocks that have held them back from becoming their TRUE BRILLIANCE. It can take time, but when those break-through moments arise, it's like nothing else in the world! When the Truth reveals itself, both client and therapist receive it's beauty and bounty. Plus, I just think folks are cool. I've never met a person that I wasn't able see their deepest light inside - and it's that light that inspires me.
