If you have made it this far in your search for guidance, you're probably in a tight spot right now. I understand how tough it can be to live with high stress, sadness, unhealthy levels of anger, and rocky relationships. These problems can become overwhelming at times. You may even have a hard time seeking guidance, wondering what this whole therapy thing is all about anyway. At times you might feel as if you're the only person going through the current rough spot that you're in, and I understand what that feels like. We are all human and we all have emotions, some of which can be tough to deal with. Working together we can leverage therapeutic techniques to learn new ways of managing the tough times so that you can keep your life more balanced, peaceful, and enjoyable. My life's passion is to help you gain the skills to become your best self.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
If you are someone wondering if therapy is right for you, I completely understand the apprehension. What could a therapist offer you that talking to a trusted peer or family member couldn't help you with? Or maybe you're thinking how is talking about the problem going to make it any better? I know what it's like to feel 'stuck' and whether or not to reach out. At times it's beneficial to discuss life's troubles with someone who is separate and unbiased from your personal relationships. Some of the most healing aspects of therapy is having a consistent, nonobjective and empathic support in your life to help you sort things out. Therapy is not only for people with mental illness but rather for anyone wanting to learn how to make the hard times less difficult. Therapy can help you learn about why you feel the way you do, and teach you skills of how to navigate through rocky and difficult emotions. None of us like feeling stressed, angry, or sad, but learning new ways to cope can make them more manageable and life much more enjoyable.
