I help people who long to feel a sense of inner safety and connectedness, but are buried under self doubt and criticism. Being human is intense; it is strange and complicated, and we are expected to show up acting like it's no big deal. If you are seeking psychotherapy, you are probably tired of pretending that life is easy.

I know from my own path to healing, and from working with countless fellow travelers, that THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU. I believe that supporting you in uncovering the truth of your basic goodness can provide you the relief you deserve.

My Role as a Therapist

My job is to be relentlessly curious and nurturing. Most of us grew up in an environment that didn't encourage us to be accepting or gentle with ourselves. We weren't taught how to be open and welcoming to ALL of our experience. Feelings like anger, sadness, fear, or confusion often lead us to believe there must be something wrong with us. One of my goals as a therapist is to provide unconditional warmth and friendliness in order to support you in connecting to your inherent capacity for self-compassion.
