WELCOME!

Something brings you here! What's not working?

Does some situation or relationship seem stuck and Impossible?

Are you looking for solutions, and ready for change, but not sure what to do?

If so, good for you for looking for help. That is the first step, because if you could have solved or changed what's not working, you would have done it already!

What I offer is "Out of the box," not regular talk therapy style. This is highly interactive, direct, collaborative, often fun and funny, an accelerated approach to breaking you free from what is not working, such as blaming, defending, criticizing, numbing out, giving up, rolling over, living in a stuck zone etc.. Together we will de-bunk the underground (unconscious) limiting beliefs which have prevented you from living the life you yearn for!

In order to change, you have to learn some new information and ways to apply it. You have to know how to practice new skills and build a new foundation.

Here is just some of what you can learn:

1- How to move from reactivity to wonder and curiosity. In other words how to move from reacting (being triggered) to responding calmly to life's curve balls.

2- How to "see" and discover the opportunity, instead of the disappointment when people don't do or say what you would like, and shift from anger to openness.

3-How to develop a friendliness or kindness toward yourself which leads to ease and flow in all of your relationships.

4-How to shift the habits which block you from having what you really want.

5- How to use a variety of tools, skills and practices to break free of whatever is not working and replace those with positive, life-affirming habits that bring you joy.

AND there is much more, depending on what you are struggling with!

You and I partner in this process, which supports you in uncovering what is true for you in every area of your life, and supports you in moving toward what you truly desire.

More Info About My Practice

I am a licensed psychotherapist, educator, trainer, catalyst, teacher, certified Hendricks relationship coach, and graduate of the Hendricks Institute's, Transformational Leaders 2 year program. I have nearly 30 years experience.

My style is direct, but gentle, loving and playfully engaging, to inspire your full participation.

I offer a variety of high-impact, results-oriented programs and packages, in-office or virtually via Skype, Google or Facetime. You don't have to live here to work with me! I have clients all over the globe. And even if you are local, with your busy life having virtual time is often more convenient.

Requirements to work with me:
1- The commitment to do whatever it takes to clear up the issues within you which are in the way of what you say you want to have in your life. You must be motivated and eager!
2- An openness to learning from each and every opportunity.
3- A sense of humor and willingness to engage/play full-out.

I offer a 30 minutes complimentary mini phone or Skype session, for us to get a sense of each other. I will also answer questions via email.

An introductory session may follow ($100) to determine what is the best program or package to fit your needs. I work in clumps of time in order to assure your success. It doesn't work well to come in and out, dabbling. Each session grows upon the last one. Continuity is key!

Some insurance will cover me as "out of network." Check with your company to find out.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I am passionate about opening doorways which show people ways to take charge of changing what isn't working in their lives.

I love when folks, at the end of our time together, let me know they cannot wait to meet again!

I love seeing those "aha" moments, when someone blurts, " Oh, our work together doesn't feel painful and hard!"

I love assisting and guiding folks to see a whole new perspective in their situation.

I love connecting deeply, collaborating, and finding the humor in the hard spots, which releases the grip.

I love it when folks are able to shift quickly from stuck to empowered.

I love to see people really show up for themselves and commit to full-on change and transformation.

I see myself reflected in all who come to see me, and feel grateful and humbled.

My Therapy Focus

Based on the results or what is happening in your life right now (which you don't want or like), provides the evidence that "something happened" way back when which keeps you stuck. Is it not as important to go back there and dissect, analyze and attempt to remember or to spend a lot of time discussing what you have already figured out. What is in the way of what you want in your life and how that relates to your history becomes clearer naturally through my Hendrick's (Gay and Kathlyn) influenced approach. If you are doing the same things or reacting in the same ways over and over and nothing is changing or working, whoa, that is painful! And even though your pain is real and problematic, focusing there reinforces it in your body/your brain/your chemistry. You know this because every time you start thinking about________, you feel bad! So "out of the box" means I approach your problems from a perspective which does not reinforce the pain, but rather teaches you actionable skills to move out of harmful mind-sets and behaviors, so you begin to feel good sooner rather than later!
