You are feeling stuck, lost in ambivalence, hopelessness, confusion and anxiety. Normally you could handle this, talk to a friend or push the worry aside, but now it feels like your dreams and all you have worked for are slipping away. Signs of distress are seeping into areas of your life, career and relationships as you try to balance it all.

Changes and transitions bring up different successes, failures and questions. This experience may be triggering scary feelings or memories from the past or pushing you to realize that "something" needs to change.

Being vulnerable and asking for help can bring up deep-rooted fears. But the moment you ask for support is when real hope and change begins. Through therapy you can find the best version of yourself and become more present so that you find greater fulfillment in your life, relationships and career.

I'm a therapist, but you could also call me a journey companion, a life guide or a courage crusader. I'm passionate about helping people, be and do their best. You are the expert on your life and I want to collaborate with you to achieve your goals and make real change.

More Info About My Practice

As an open and non-judgmental therapist, I work to foster a safe and accepting environment. My approach is genuine, warm, supportive and collaborative.

I specialize in working with professional women experiencing life transitions such as moving, changing jobs, marriage, leaving a relationship and beginning parenthood. I support founders, entrepreneurs and people in the start-up and technology industries by helping manage stress, anxiety, depression, work/life balance issues and strengthening relationships and couples. I work with a broad range of people from diverse cultures and backgrounds while creating a safe space to explore each person's unique experience.

I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation to new clients to see if we might be the right fit and answer any questions you may have about me or therapy in general.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

"I believe that vulnerability supported in kindness and understanding will change the world."

I really believe this and I love that my job allows me to make this happen every day, changing the lives of the people I work with. Through providing acceptance, authenticity and compassion I help people heal, meet their goals and find strengths they never knew they had. I feel honored that I get to be a part of people's journeys in their individual lives and relationships.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

The relationship between you and your therapist is unique, powerful and special. It's important that you find someone you like, trust and feel comfortable with. Research has shown that the most important predictor of whether or not therapy will be effective is the strength of the relationship between you and the therapist.

Each therapist has their own personality, style and feel. Check out different therapist profiles and websites and find the ones that resonate with you. Then contact them and ask questions to help you get to know what it might feel like to work together. You will be able to find a therapist who you connect with and who can support and encourage your goals and journey.
