As both a woman and a health care professional, I am passionate about women's mental health. I provide a professional, nurturing and a confidential setting in which you are safe to explore and express your struggles. As women, we face a multitude of challenges; specific to us as a daughter, a wife, a girlfriend, a mother, a friend, a professional, a grandmother, and as a woman in culture. Whether you're struggling with feelings of depression and/or anxiety or gridlocked by current or past hurts, you don't have to work through it alone.
In our work together we will explore your thoughts, beliefs and values, as well as your life experiences to help guide you toward a place of inner peace and self-compassion. If you are holding onto feelings of depression, anxiety and you feel overwhelmed, sad, angry, frustrated, or stuck in past hurts, therapy can help.

More Info About My Practice
I strive to provide a collaborative and compassionate experience that best supports you.
Depending on your needs I draw upon various therapeutic techniques. I use a mind-body approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and ACT among several other modalities. I also rely on Lifespan Integration Therapy and Schema Therapy to gently bring resolution to past hurts by integrating the neural systems in the body and mind.
My focus is working with women to take back control of their lives, grow personally and to empower themselves in every role they lead at every stage of life.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I love being a therapist because life is not meant to be struggled with. I love being a therapist because of the ability in helping others to find their strength and courage they didn't know they had. I love being a therapist because sometimes all we need is one person in our lives who instills the power of hope in us to give us the courage to do amazing things.
