Are you looking for a therapist who can listen to your story without judgment and can offer real solutions to your challenges? My therapeutic approach is non-judgmental and affirmative of all human experience. It is extremely important to me that you feel comfortable and safe during our therapeutic conversations. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process where the therapist and client work together to identify the best possible outcomes. Whether it's shame, trauma, or harmful social discourses that impede you from reaching your full potential; I can help you reclaim control of your life.

I primarily use Narrative therapy in my clinical practice. Narrative therapy is an approach that helps individuals connect with their values, hopes, and commitments. Narrative Therapy can help individuals separate from problems that negatively influence their lives.

When people identify with problem stories about themselves, they often act in ways that are inconsistent with their true self, which can led them to feel helpless and directionless in life. I assist my clients identity exceptions to problems and to access their strength to help them accomplish their goals. This is an empowering process that presents possibilities for a preferred future.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Oftentimes, people's problems can prevent them from recognizing their personal resources. When this happens, it can be difficult for people to find direction in life and maintain hope. Problems can gain power and eventually dominate people's lives. This can cause people to live a life that's not consistent with who they truly are.

Therapy enables people to get in touch with their core values and personal resources. Therapy can help people to feel empowered enough to reduce the influence of problems in their lives.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to guide my clients through an exploration of stories that highlight their values, commitments, purposes, and dreams. This process helps in reducing problems' influence on people's lives. As a therapist, I am curious about my clients' experience and the stories that shape their lives. This allows me to build a strong connection with my clients and to be effective when choosing specific interventions and strategies to help them.
